Dr Stephen Ciavarella

M.D. Male General Practitioner

Stephen has joined our team as a GP Registrar. He is a born-and-bred Melburnian who graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (with Distinction) from The University of Melbourne in 2020, completing General Practice medical research as part of his studies. He has spent several years at Western Health (Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals), gaining a broad range of clinical experience by working in disciplines including general and specialty adult medicine, general surgery, adult and paediatric emergency, obstetrics & gynaecology, aged care, palliative care, and psychiatry.

Stephen has a kind demeanour and prides himself on his communication skills in working closely with patients to understand their health needs. He believes in a holistic, evidence-based and patient-centred approach to maintaining health and wellbeing, and values the importance of continuity of care.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, reading, and going for walks with his dog Bella.

Our practice offers Bulk-billing to both new and existing patients holding a valid Medicare card with no out-of-pocket cost for standard consultations from Monday to Friday
