Children’s Health
Children’s health is one of the key areas of care we offer here at Pakenham Family Health.
Young children tend to fall sick more often than adults and this is due to the fact that they are building their immune systems. Often, there is no reason to worry, however, we encourage parents to trust their instincts and make an appointment with their GP if they have any concerns.
At Pakenham Family Health we are here to help you with regular childhood illnesses, but we are also here to support you every step of the way as you raise your children into happy and healthy young adults.
Children, much like adults suffer from mental health conditions. It is important to seek professional help if there are any concerns. Changes in behavior, being withdrawn and not participating in activities previously enjoyed are just some of the many signs your child may be struggling. Early intervention and support are key to addressing mental health issues.
